Head of Academics (foreigner)（职位编号D3485610001899号）
Core Purpos:
 work closely with School Principal to provide direction, inspiration and guidance to our teaching staff including staff development, performance management and deployment, while inspiring an atmosphere of caring, sharing, and outstanding professionalism.
 Focus on developing a high performing teaching and learning community
 take lead responsibility for the design, development, implementation, and adjustment of the curriculum and assessment for Grades 9 to 12.
 Ensure that the curriculum is carried out systematically and reflects the school’s vision, mission and philosophy.
 Promote excellence, equality, and high expectations for all students and staff.
 contribute to the day-to-day management and operations of the school.

Strategic Direction/development:
 Develop and maintain a shared educational culture that is aligned with the school’s mission and vision, and set strategic academic goals and plans that will inspire and motivate students and teaching staff.
 Work with school Principal and direct to create and implement the strategic plan which identifies priorities and targets for students and teachers to achieve high standards and make progress, thus securing school improvement.
 Support the Principal in the management and direction of the school as a whole.
 Share responsibility for and assist where required for school development. Proactively collaborate with Admissions and Marketing & College Application Service Departments to achieve school’s common goal.

Accountability:
 Ensure individual teaching staff accountabilities are clearly defined, understood, and agreed on, and are subject to rigorous review and evaluation.
 Work with the Principal to create and develop an organization in which all staff recognize that they are accountable for the success of the school.
 Ensure that parents and students are well-informed about the curriculum, attainment and progress, and about the contribution that they can make to achieve the school targets for improvement.
